Starting Your Motion Capture Journey?
Choose MoA Motion Capture.

A New Standard in Precision Motion Capture
MoA AVATA / ARENA is a professional motion capture animation software and system built for animation and content creation. By combining the strengths of gyroscopic and optical technologies, it offers high precision, flexible spatial usage, and instant retargeting—all in one streamlined production environment.
High-Precision Position & Rotation Tracking
MoA ensures stable, drift-free capture by precisely combining position and rotation data, maintaining consistent quality even during long use.
Unlimited Spatial Freedom
Unlike conventional Vive Tracker-based systems, MoA uses the Ultimate Tracker, enabling motion capture in both indoor and outdoor environments—without base stations.
Multi-Actor Support
MoA ARENA supports up to 2 actors simultaneously. When connected to the MoA Server, it can manage an unlimited number of actors within the network range.
One-Second Calibration
Align sensors and the body model in just one second. This drastically reduces calibration time, making it ideal for fast-paced, repetitive production workflows.
Core Software Capabilities
This is a super-simple markerless motion capture software and animation tool that requires no complex setup or full-body suit. Just wear the sensor-equipped straps and calibrate in just one second. MoA supports clean data generation and precise full-body motion capture.
I. Core Technologies for Implementing Sophisticated Motion

One-Click Calibration
-
Precision Calibration Algorithm
Automatically detects the user’s body proportions and sensor positions to create an optimized motion capture environment without the need for complex manual adjustments. The user-friendly one-click interface enables high-accuracy calibration in just one second. -
Optimized for Solo Operation
Users can assign names and colors to equipment for easy identification. With the built-in delay timer function, users can maintain accurate poses (e.g., arms outstretched) during calibration, making it ideal for solo creators and one-person production setups.
Real-Time Retargeting
With intuitive parameter adjustments, poses can be mapped in real time to both animated characters and digital humans, allowing for flexible adaptation to a wide range of body types.

Advanced Motion Data Processing
-
Sensor Data Integration
Motion data collected from VIVE sensors placed on key human joints is comprehensively analyzed to accurately reproduce complex and delicate human movements. -
Biomechanics-Based Motion Prediction
By leveraging biomechanics-based algorithms and human body models, gaps in sensor data are intelligently filled, and motion is seamlessly reconstructed even in the presence of noise. This enables the prediction and simulation of natural, lifelike human movement. -
Predefined Equipment Profiles
Optimized profiles are provided for various sensor configurations—including the number of sensors, placement positions, and presence of a VR HMD—allowing for quick setup and stable operation.
II. Optimized Workflow and System Integration

Recorded data compatibility
-
Low-Latency Streaming Protocol
Supports dedicated plugins for real-time communication with major 3D engines such as Unity, Unreal Engine 5.2, and Warudo. Real-time data streaming via the VMC protocol enables live performances and efficient animation production. -
Motion Data Recording and Playback
Allows real-time motion data to be recorded and instantly played back, facilitating rapid animation review and feedback. This significantly enhances the efficiency of the production workflow.
real-time data streaming
Provides export functionality in standard motion data formats such as FBX and BVH, ensuring smooth data exchange and post-production compatibility with a wide range of 3D software.

Actor Tracking Functionality
III. Scalability and Operational Efficiency

Integrated Solution for Precise and Reliable Device Operation
-
Real-Time Device Monitoring
Displays essential information—such as battery levels and connection status—for all connected trackers and devices in real time. This ensures a stable shooting environment and simplifies device management during operation. -
Sensor Labeling System
Allows custom labels to be assigned and stored for each sensor, supporting streamlined sensor organization and rapid reconfiguration in setups involving multiple pieces of equipment. -
External Device Integration and Management
Supports integration with external hardware such as Manus and StretchSense, enabling high-precision performance capture, including finger movements and fine gestures. A unified UI provides a comprehensive overview of all connected devices, allowing for efficient management even in multi-device environments.
MoA ARENA offers additional features.

Multi-Actor System Supporting Up to Two Performers
MoA ARENA supports a multi-actor system capable of reliably capturing up to two characters simultaneously. This is especially useful for real-time performances and interactive scenarios.
By utilizing the MoA Server to network multiple PCs, the system can scale to handle large-scale, multi-performer sessions in real time. This provides high scalability and collaboration efficiency, making it ideal for large-scale projects such as live broadcasts, events, games, and digital twin applications.
Enhanced Precision with Support for up to 11 Sensors
MoA ARENA supports up to 11 sensors per performer—an increase of 5 sensors compared to the previous AVATA version. This expanded configuration allows for more precise tracking of key joints such as the chest, elbows, and knees, enabling highly detailed motion capture.
The system delivers exceptional quality even in projects requiring subtle motion expression, making it especially well-suited for complex movements and emotionally expressive character animations.

Server Functionality Support
With the newly added server feature, ARENA now supports network-based data transmission by connecting multiple PCs. This enables not only real-time live data streaming but also the transfer and sharing of recorded motion data across systems.
For example, users located in different regions can control characters within the same scene simultaneously or practice choreography and movement paths together in real time. This greatly enhances the flexibility of remote collaboration and opens up new possibilities for distributed motion capture workflows.
